Need a reliable electrical discharge insect control system!

More commonly known as a Bug Zapper.

I've had 2 different "stingee" models and neither are worth a crap IMO--grid burned out on the big one after about 3 months.
Anyone got a recommendation for one that actually works and works for more than a year? (you can pm me the info if ya wish)
Anyone had any experience with the box shaped one flowtron makes?

excellent question as I am looking for some too to get rid of these $#^$^$ skeeters... I see some in lowes and walmart but don't know how well they work.

Stay away from Stinger brand. Sold in Lowes and Walmart. I bought the big one and it only lasted about 3 months. Grid burned out, and a replacement grid costs nearly as much as the whole thing did. Wife bought a smaller stinger, and it has worked for the last 2 weeks, but has to be cleaned every morning. Here are the reviews on Stingers--wish I had read them first:

Thanks for the info. I remember growing up grandparents had same ones for years about 5-10 years always stayed under the porch one was a smaller white one and other was a black one. They sure dont make stuff like they used too.

We have used the Bug Zapper for the Pest Removal campaign and it worked just fine.
