Did any One make it to The National Western Stock Show in Denver to See the Red Angus Cattle Sell? i wanted to go to See COLEY'S MOJITO 503R sell but i couldnt Make it. Seen Him out at there Farm thow. he was one of the best Red Angus bulls Ive ever seen.

He was a nice bull, brought alot of money but didn't win the show.

yea it was alot of Money for only half it was alot of Money Period. He didnt win Overall Champion witch Bull did then?

yeah He had a Great Sire. Perks Advance 121r really is making Great Cattle. We Bought Two 121r Heifers off Coley this Fall at there Front Pasture Classic. MOJITO didnt win overall Champion?

A bull of Webers from Iowa was Grand champion. He was a yearling and judged better that day. Mojito is a good bull as well. There were several (at least a few) that were in that catagory of what I call good bulls. You should go to Denver. There is always lots of nice stock.

Ollie,

Webers bull is not a yearling. He was the National Champion bull this summer in IA too. He is a 2 year old and a full brother to Doc Holliday that won last year in.

Moljito was a good bull. Their was things I wasn't so found of, but he was pretty good. I bought a full brother to 121R from Coley this fall at the Front Pasture Classic Sale. These 2 were side by side at Denver and I liked ours better and I didn't have to give near what they gave for Mojito. I think the 1002lbs weaning weight is what brought on the craze.

There was some Advance semen up here for a while. The quality wasn't very good so most guys had to use a lot of semen to get a good number of calves. Love the dark red color, the heifers were big time nice.

These Advance cattle is just what the breed needs after all the Cherokee Canyon. This line will bring back some bone and muscle with gobs of performance. I already own a 121R son and he is so good, extremely thick, and easy fleshing that we decided to go get a full brother to 121R. Coley told me that when you compare 121R to our bull, at this age he likes ours better. We won't know for sure for a couple years but we are going to use him really hard. His dam is what really sold me on him. Super cow with alot of middle and muscle with a great udder. He will probably breed 40 to 50 cows this summer naturally. Semen will be available for Canada if you want some, he is at Hawkeye in Billings right now.

121R is a Great Bull. He is Breeding Very nice heifers. Dark in Color there Thick And have great Dispotion. We Bought Two 121r Heifers at Coleys Front pasture Classic this year.

Well, I bought a bull in Denver. He was in the 2006 NWSS Grand Champion Pen of Three bulls named SHF Red Oak M326 R96. He is a Polled Hereford bull and was from the Sandhill Farms cowherd from Haviland, KS. :cboy:
