my heifer has a bloody nose why ?

Does anyone know why our heifer would have a bloody nose ? It was just noticed today...I'm sure it just started because we seen her yesterday and she was fine...Please let me know if you all have any ideas ?

Volume of blood?

If a little maybe she ran a stick up her nose?

Another cow butted her?

Lots of possibilities.

She in distress?

She eating?

She breathing ok?

It could be serious and it could be minor.

Little blood and no distress - relax.

Lots of blood - ropey and staggering - trouble.

Too sketchy a discription.

Almost like saying I have a headache - what do I do?

she has been picking her nose with a stick or rubbing it on something until it bleeds. she likely has one of those annoying buggers that you can feel but cant get out without picking it.
