My Bull Ain't Worth It

Rancher shot and killed after his bull was hit by a vehicle. Details are sketchy at the moment.

UPDATE:
On November 20 2018 the family of Jack Yantis agreed to an out of court wrongful death settlement of 2.6 million
with Adams county Idaho.

But, what happened with the deputies? A wrongful death settlement won't bring him back, and will help to compensate his widow and family... but what about the stress her heart attack caused, what about being pushed to the ground and handcuffed then suffering the heart attack???? Did the deputies have to pay for their actions in any legal manner?

No. That would be tantamount to admitting they did something wrong and it's usually one of the terms of any settlement that the victim's family gets the money only as long as the shooter/'defendant' (or his dept) (or the city) doesn't have to say they did anything wrong.
