Back a page, Snowball had her calf out of Richard.

Today, Sugar had a lil heifer calf out of Big Sexy!

Gonna add a couple other pics. I like this lil cow!
Cute lil udder. She raised a heck of a lil steer last year. He actually topped the market that day for his weight.

Sugar and Snow are the ones I fed a bit last year. Bought as yearling pairs. Pairs weighed 800lbs each.

I think they will be a good addition here. Was a bit worried about calving even tho this was their 2nd calf.

They've came around well. Sugar doesn't look like someone calf out there any more.

No tag yet. This calf is very active. And mama was a bit stirred up. Tho she stayed on the other side of the hot wire.
I'll get em up later and check out the calf a bit more. Easy to identify tho. Only one here out of Big sexy. No more calves til spring here now. Other place starts end of September early October

Here's a couple quick snaps of Snowball's heifer.
I've not had to feed these this year. They eat same as everyone else. And honestly, they didn't get a LOT of feed last year as yearlings with calves. Snowball's calf got smashed. And I weaned Sugar's early. They are doing a fine job this year!
You can definitely tell the 2 calves are out of different bulls...

I'd have much prefered Sugar had a Richard calf. But this lil calf will sell just as well with Big Sexy's calves from the other place. Fact is, this pair will probly move to that place when I haul Big Sexy over there this winter.
And yet another pic of Sugar loving her heifer baby. She's so proud! You'd think she knew she was the only one or something. U can see her chrome in this pic too...

Gotcha guys didn't I?

He weighed almost 1000lbs
Brought just under 350 bucks. He would make a beautiful calf with Bessie and Opal. But I can't justify keeping that turd around for 2 cows!
Someone else bought him....

Kool story tho. He was a sheriff impound. They held him, but no one claimed him. So they sold him. I know the sheriff here. He kept him at his place. Said he was very gentle. Didn't mind being torched/petted etc. I went out and gave him a scratch. He tried to mount me thru the pen!!!
Like I said. A lil too friendly.
He was all over anything that he could at the sale. He really really needed some ladies. Probly why someone didn't care if he was ever found. I got an idea he was a problem where he lived before.

Shoot, at that price you should have bought him. Knock the horns off and you'd easily double your money at a slaughter sale.

I tried to buy him for my 2nd butcher date in November. Slaughter only they said. They didn't wanna fool with the required testing. Adds another 75 bucks to it as well.

Bessie WANTS that white face calf in a bad way for some reason. She ain't got enough milk for 3, let alone 4 calves. And yes, I broke the rulz... calves went right with mine.
These 2 calves were bought at the sale, but the owner was a neighbor/family friend. I'm still kind of shocked he didn't p.o them. (I gave less than bottle calf price, NO other bids. Bought with one bid) They have same drought issues as everyone. And hauling water as well. They sold ALL calves early. They usually wean and work em. Not his time.
Anyway, if you will notice the off side panel is right side up. I put them back yesterday as to keep these 2 new ones seperate. Told myself, now self.... u better go ahead and put them both upside down dummy.

Mouse, that's what's I'm calling the white face, show 'nuf snuck under and out to Bessie and her 2 calves, leaving her half sister behind. Oi vey!
Liked to NEVER got her back in the small pen away from Bessie. Bessie was getting very perturbed with me as well as I with her.
She actually gave me a nudge or two while I was doing this mess. I told her no way!! U ain't got the juice for 3 gurl!

or look at any U-Tube (which I do) it will slow to a crawl or even go dark. I sent that Geronimo message to you and shut down
thinking it had gone out. I logged on about half an hour later and it showed still on the screen so I hit send then send again (po)
They all went together but with different times. [ I was raised on a Big Chief tablet and a No 2 short pencil with no eraser)
I feel like I'm in the major league every time I get up to bat on here. Have fun, it's good for you! LVR
