To the best of my knowledge, Multi-Min, BoSe & MuSe have always needed vet script. (BoSe & MuSe for at least 25 years).
TexasBred - many, many years ago, Cornell did some research on SE and tried to over-dose an animal with MuSe and was unable to accomplish that. But - according to USDA (? whoever makes our rules) SE is labeled toxic because it is in some areas of the US, but definitely not HERE.
