Is there a problem with mixing black eyed susan in a pasture that is hayed? The hay is used for cattle and horses by a neighbor.

why would you want it in your hay?

Yes. It will take it over and you will probably make the people who cut it for hay mad.
Plant a flower garden for her.

my suggestions would be
crimson clover...beautiful crimson flowers in spring.
red clover...lavendar blooms as long it is warm and there is moisture
chicory....pretty blue flowers in summer
sweet clover....yellow or white
vetch ..winter annual with pretty pink spring flowers.
all of these would help the hay quality and the soil as well.

Thank you all for the input.

I think I will skip the black eyed susan, and blanket flower and and look into a plant such as clover that is better suited in a hay field.
