How long can a cow keep making milk if she is not bred and you dont let her dry up...thanks

Depends on the cow. Persistence is different for every cow. I've got some that peak and hang in there for a long time. Others will peak fast and drop off just as fast. I've had some last 500 days on a lactation while others I was lucky to get through 250 days.

That is a typical lactation curve. The persistency stage will vary from cow to cow. The basic message is once the cow hits peak production she will begin a steady decline regardless of what you do. They can not go through life on a continual lactation.
