Loans for feeder/stocker calves

Are there specific programs for getting short term loans for calves that I will sell in 3-5 months? Of course I know of the banks etc. but are there farm specific plans out there just for this kind of thing?

Farm Credit, FSA.

Check to see if you have a branch of the farm credit system in your area (Ag Production Credit).

If you would put your location in information it would help as conditions and availability of things vary by state and regions.

the banks here have all backed out of loaning money on cattle.
Only one left here is FSA- and I honestly think thats just because all their chicken/urbanite loans are so bad they are willing to take anything that has a chance of not going bust.

I am staying prepared to have all my short term loans called- had two solid ones called in the last two years, no reason to believe it won't happen again.
