It looks like we may be able to cut some by late in the week. This time of year in Alabama you just have to take a chance and cut it so you can get started growing for the next cutting. More hay quality is lost every year from fear of rain and letting it over grow than hay quality lost by rain. I have cut the day just before a rain and let it get rained on while it is still green. This does not hurt it near as much as a rain when ready to roll.
