The jury got it right.
I expect as a 1st time offender he will get a slap on the wrist, probation and a small fine. Not sure if it would be legal, but I'd give him 90 days for perjury, for lying under oath while testifying on the stand. But I don't know the rules.

The other crime/shame was the original "Woke" state's attorney Kim Foxx who attempted a cover up by dropping the charges after the police investigation had proven Smollett's story was a lie. And the national media who jumped all over the story as proof of a racist America and now remains silent when the truth comes out.
