Haven't posted here in awhile, but still lurk every day
Thought I'd share some pictures from the past month or so.

First calver and her steer calf

heifer calf - would be a half sister to the first calver above (same mother)

Bought a small group of limo x cows this spring for a pretty reasonable price (avg $2200), this girl was one of them and looks like she'll stick around for a bit yet.

one of my favorite cows - not quite sure how old she is, but at least 11 (have her daughter who we know is 9 and is the spitting image of her)

pictured this old girl on here before, either 16 or 17 years old (would have to get her up and read her tattoo to be sure). I'd say she's still holding her condition alright ;-)

Thanks for all the comments - taking pictures is one my favorite things to do so I'm glad to be able to share them!

What's the breeding on those black baldies?

They would be mostly Angus with a touch of Hereford back there somewhere and possibly some other breeds. They came from my husbands grandparents herd and they haven't ran a Hereford bull in 20 years or more.

Checked one of the pastures again last night and snapped some more pictures. These are all purebred Red Angus cows & calves.
