I just wanted to tell everyone who posted that the calf has made a complete recovery even shocked a couple of the vets. it took some hard work and some patience. but if you saw him today you would not be able to tell which one had the joint infection. His joint did fuse together and looks slightly bigger than the rest but he does not walk with a limp, he uses all four legs he is growing like he should and we didnt lose.
There are only a few that would stick with such a demanding schedule but in the end if you dont lose the calf and can finish him out then i think that is well worth it. One day i hope to be able to post a picture of him. I am happy i didnt give up on him.
