I recently shopped all over the internet for a replacement air filter for my home air conditioner. I initially installed a high efficiency filter that is replaced once per year.

Cheapest price on the internet I got was $35 and the highest price was $55. Plus shipping.

I called the local a/c supply house here and they had the exact same filter for only $19.

Be careful shopping on the internet, it's not always the best bargain.

Same policy applies to ALL of the Mass Merchandiser chain stores as well as local/area stores...

Know what the realistic prices are before you shop...

Other minor issue is called "Convenience Shopping"...and may cost more...

Compare S/H charges to what it costs a person to drive to store (considering gas/diesel prices now)...
