Not mine. A friend sent me the picture and asked if I knew what it was. No markings anywhere on the gun. Appeared to be .45 cal but a 45 round won't chamber. A gunsmith toldhim he thought it was early 1900s Belgium but wasn't sure.
Any ideas?
thought so at first, but the machining on the handle is wrong for velodog , where the grips go.
I'm beginning to think it is an early 1900s German Scheintod tear gas pistol that fired a 12mm tear gas round. The grips may have been replaced or it may be a Belgian knock off of a Schientod since the safety is shaped differently.
What do ya think?
