...what mud was. We are back to typical Indiana weather. 3.5" since noon Monday and more falling. The sky is gray. The grass is growing. The cows are smiling. Well, not really. I'm smiling. The cows are too busy munching on green grass.
 
OK, it's been raining for 36 hrs!...This can stop now. About 5.5".
Just like Morton salt, when it rains, it pours. The forecast is for 4 more days of this.
Years of experience as a farmer allow me to switch overnight from cursing the drought to cursing the rain. Practice, practice.

patience, patience surely.....it must stop soon. You need a way of storing it all for the next drought.
