Pretty humid here in Missouri too. We have no trouble with the high marblers. They are the one's that stay in the best condition even feeding twins. Maybe there's more to it than just marbling (cows are high milk EPD too,)

Maybe not as humid. But we are still humid except maybe in a drought? We had almost constant rain this summer, that's a lot. I do admit, we did not have as much heat as you did.
I would really think the fat cover would cause more problems than the marbling. Wouldn't you?
