Was a great day. Everything seems fine with both of them. This new one is a lot more calm than the first one. She just came right up to me and I was able to spray her navel . I have 2 more that are due April/May so, the stress is off for a while now.

im not for sure but im thinking that the new calf is an angus cross.most all of my beefmaster calves get up looking for the teat.an his calf prolly sucked sooner than an hr.he just didnt see it suck the 1st time.

UPDATE: here is an update on these two. Both have been doing fine.

The one on the left has nice markings, but the one on the right "appears" to be a better "beefier" type calf.

Yea, she took more of the sire's traits (reg Black Angus). Very muscular.
