I was reading about how this law will affect thrift shops who would now have to test every individual item for lead since they don't have large lots to sample like the manufacturer would.

My husband makes cedar furniture as a sideline. I wonder if that is covered, as well? After all, who knows what's in the varnishes and lacquers?

I love it when government has to save us from ourselves.
