Hobby?

I have several.
Of course number one is spending quality time with my HS sweetheart we hold season tickets to several of the
local jamborees. These are evenings I always look forward to.
Used to be chasing trophy speckled trout. Physical limitations wont take the pounding on the bay anymore.
Hunting would be next.
I collect Railroad watches along with Case knifes.
Reloading.
I guess you would have say cattle as I have owned one since I was 14 this might be
classified as a psychological condition.

I'm a very hobby oriented person. I've had many if you count sports from calf roping to golf. Not to mention hunting. I also have a creative flare. Taught myself guitar but my favorite hobby is wood carving. Although I haven't had much time for it in the last few years.

Here's some of my work.

This coyote was my first carving ever. I never painted it.

That is really cool and a God given talent those are really nice.
I used to make primitive bow's.
I will try and remember to get some pics one day as I have a few left I haven't given away.

NICE work Deep South... Very impressive!! I admire the skill and patience required for that.

my hobbies? Well lets see.. my horses, although I don't ride hardly at all anymore. Also reading, listening to a variety of music, collecting whatever hits my fancy (Mobo horses and ponies, model horses, antique books about horses, dogs, veterinary medicine, comics) refinishing old furniture, auctions, antiquing, trapping gophers, and traveling with Dan in the semi. I'm retiring from the 911 center with almost 26 years of service the end of this month so I am HOPING to find more time to do more of these hobbies as well as maybe get in some fishing!!

I've always wanted to know everybodies hobbies here. I sometimes wish we had a hobby section.

Hobbies before children:
Horses/mules/roping
Restoring antiques tractors
Bicycling

My children are my hobby now.
Mine too. And now two grand kids. This is the first night we've had them at the same time. Boy age 24 months and girl age 9 months. My bride told me today that it has become obvious that my job is teaching the grand kids mischief that I didn't think of when I was that age. When I think of what she said, and ponder on it a bit, she is right. It's my hobby

Phil I used to draw pencil sketch's have a book full of wildlife.
For some strange reason 15 years ago I just quit.
My oldest grand daughter has several framed in her living room.
Got up off my lazy butt and went upstairs here are a few of the bows I made.

I didn't make the one on the far left it was made and given to me by a friend.

That is some cool stuff. Requires a lot of patience I'm sure. People with patience are a rare thing these days. You have posted other hobbies here that require devotion and patience. The world needs more like you.

Wow! You guy's have definitely out did me! You are a real talented group! My biggest talent (with my hands) is medical stuff, I guess. I have done "crafty" things in the past. But I don't have the patience for it any longer. (Or maybe the attention span.) :P

My hobby is to find what I can tear up. Must be because I never make any money doing it, and it takes up any extra time I have.
