I have a 10 year old Hereford that is due to calve in March. The Vet said she has Cancer eye, and that there's nothing more he can do for her. If she last long enough to calve that will be great. After that my question is will she be safe to eat or should I bury her.Thanks.

How advanced is it?
After she calves, you could remove the eye and she could continue to produce calves for you if the cancer has not spread. Or you could remove the eye and ship her when she clears the drug withdrawl.
We wait until they calve and then remove the eye. When we wean her calf in the fall, she goes to town.
