hereford bull

i have a 2 year old hereford bull that i have never heared moo. i've had it for 5 months. is this a problem

Our bulls never make a sound, unless a hot cow is near by. ;-)
So I wouldn't be too worried about it.

I have found that bulls are generally not as vocal as cows....some bull's moos are very low pitch and hard to hear.....but in other cases they will be very loud and sound like their voice is cracking....but I wouldn't worry much if you haven't heard him moo

I wouldn't worry about it. We would like to see some pictures of him, however.

at least if he is not bellering he isn't looking for a fight. i see that as a plus.

i wouldnt worry about your bull not mooing.that is normal for bulls.he will moo when he wants to.

If there was another bull across the fence, you'd hear all sorts of sounds coming from him.
