Hadn't discussed numbers with him recently, but the trucks & trailers rolled in today... next door neighbor (84 y.o.) is doing a herd dispersal sale on Thursday 20 Apr 2023 at the KY-TN Livestock Auction, in Guthrie, KY. Not getting rid of everything, but they do have 25 pairs and 35 bred cows going through. Most of these girls will have Select Sires Angus sire genetics behind them for multiple generations; calves on the ground and in cows are probably mostly sired by AI bulls.
This will be a very nice group of well-bred, very gentle cows if anyone is interested in grabbing some.
