Guernsy Meat?

Did a guy a favor (he needed money, badly) bought his Guernsy steer about 450# for $200.
Never dealt with these before. Meat good/bad? He's in great body condition, hasn't missed a meal, you could say.
Any input from the meat gurus?
 
I don't know if I am a meat "guru" but my dad took a payment on a bill once from a local dairyman and got a Guernsey. Off flavor, didn't really enjoy it, he never did it again so he must have tasted it also. Their fat is really yellow and different than a Jersey for some reason. Just my :2cents:.
 
I haven;t eaten any in 30 years but it seemes to me it was just like Holstein when finished the same, but smaller cuts.
