Grandson's Herefords

This is one of his first cows, Annie. She's been pictured a few times over the years. She's 5 now, and with her Feb calf she was Reserve Champ Hereford at Butler Co fair & Grand Champ Hereford at Preble Co fair this year.

This is Brutus, Annie's yearling steer. He was the Champion Bred & Owned steer at Preble Co fair. He was 5th in the Hereford steer class, the judge thought he wasn't quite finished.

Btw, Annie & her calf came off pasture just 3 weeks before these shows. The calf never got grain until that point.

He's finally starting to put some weight on those bones, hahaha. He just turned 13 and is one of the tallest kids in 8th grade. He's been a big help on the farm. That's a good thing, I couldn't afford to feed him otherwise!
