I was in Montana for the first time about a month ago. We loved it! It was the first place that when I was driving, I had to slow down when I got on the interstate. If you don't drive 90 on the two lane roads, you better pull over or you will be run over by a pot belly, hay truck, or a pick-up.

YUP!!!!!!!

Gotta love "newbies" around here who ask "how far to the nearest shopping mall?" and I answer "about 1 hour to the north-east"...or "how far is billings?" and I reply "about 3 hours in good weather, about 4 in a blizzard" :lol2: :lol2:

I can agree with that since I grew up north of Great Falls. Billings was always the place to be for the NILE and the NRA Finals. Lots of foggy memories!!!!!

How true it is. I can relate to all of them. I'm going to print them off for my co-workers to read.

I've never been to MT but, I resemble most of those comments.

My sister worked on a ranch near Bozeman for years. Now she lives in AZ and can't wait to get back to MT.

Fact...you are driving your normal speed and get passed by a old rusty Jeep pick-up...pulling a even older stock trailer full of steers. Had this happen to me outside of Livingston, had to recheck the speedometer and I was doing 70.

You can go to the Wallmart in Bozeman and see Jags, and Rolls
parked along side rusty pick-ups leaking oil and fluids all over the lot.

You don't wonder how Big Timber, Mt got it's name...not a tall tree within miles.

Just my two bits worth...Dmc
