Today, Mr. Jack Lucas, the youngest Marine Corps. Medal of Honor recipient died. Interesting article on him here.

This is not a complete story of Mr. Lucas military experience. A further search will find that he enlisted in the Army in the 60's, and became a paratrooper.
Very interesting gentleman.
