Does anyone know where I can find hinges for the old style, Lifetime gates (flat aluminum)? All I can find are hinges for the newer style pipe gates.

I have two 16 foot old style aluminum gates in very good condition other than the hinges are are missing. I'd like to use them to replace some very heavy, homemade, pipe gates that are sagging.

I just used those big strap hinges like you use on a barn door.

Check on line for Lehman's Hardware, I don't know if they have a web page or not. If not you should be able to at least get a phone number for them.

You could weld a piece of scrap flat bar to a piece of pipe and have one stronger than store bought. Just a thought. That is what I would do anyway. Quicker than driving to the store.

I tried the Lehman's website, nothing there. Don't weld or own a welder so I guess I'll try the strap hinges like Dun suggested.
