This is my first time posting a picture so it probably won't work.
After editing it i figured it out, but the picture seems small.

Other than that I am planning to show this heifer at the county fair next year, and keep her as a replacement female.

Nice heifer, a little more information would be helpful to tell you how good she really is.

You're using the photo address from the thumbnail itself in the gallery. That's your problem. You need to click on the photo so you're looking at it normal-size, then you can right-click, get the "properties" aka address, and use that when posting a photo.

For instance, if I use this address (this is what you were using)
http://cattletoday.com/photos/data/500/ ... 0_1384.JPG
...it comes out ittybitty sized.

If I use this address (see the difference? I took the "thumbs" for thumbnail part out of the addy)
http://cattletoday.com/photos/data/500/100_1384.JPG
...it'll be enormous; you must have uploaded it without resizing it.

Now, if I use this address...
http://cattletoday.com/photos/data/500/ ... 0_1384.JPG
...then it comes out normal size; this is the address I used for the pic above.

savvy?

Hi, new here so not sure if this pic will work ! I have been showing this cow during the summer and hope to show the calf in his own right next year. What do you make of him? picture was taken 17th June he was born 18th December.
EOE2007

Zulu-Nice looking pair. What breed are they? (I'd say the cow looks Red Angus but the calf more Saler, but both of those guesses are probably wrong.) How old are they? Cow's certainly in good condition, nice big calf.

Thanks for that. They are Red Poll, i only took the cow out showing for a bit of fun -- she is so easy to do and we think a great deal of her. She was really a bit too fit but won two reserve breed champs at the two shows we took her to. she was born Nov 2002 and the calf Dec 2006. am hoping he will do well in his own right next year.

A fine looking pair but what do you mean by the phrase "a bit too fit" In our part of the world it would refer to a Rugby player.

slightly overconditioned

Where is your part of the world?

Sold the little fella last month as a breeder, having used him across a few cows last summer. He worked well with them and they are all calving now, real easygoing, great temperament.
We've got two more RP's to show this season plus a young South Devon bull and heifer --- here's hoping. :)
