Food consumption next 50 years

Help Support CattleToday:

That's backwards. There are currently about 7 billion people living and cumulatively from 50,000 years BC till today it is estimated there has been 105 billion births.
According to the world clock the world's population is 7.9 billion just a fraction away from being 8 billion.

Currently 55.1 million die in the world each year.
For 100 billion to have died since 1 AD = an average of 49.5 million per year

1 billion person milestone, modern calculations as 1st time ever.
1904 pop. 1 billion and 49.5 million deaths would be a lot more note worthy
than than today's 55.1 million out of 7.8 billion
Can you imagine what 49.5 million deaths would have been like in 1804, 1704 ect?

Wendy Baldwin is full of B.S. and her math would render Covid as meaningless.

What happened in Venezuela ?
Do some searches on the internet about Venezuela going from capitalism to socialism. There are many articles giving a timeline of the fall from the 3rd wealthiest, healthiest economy to nearly the poorest country in the world in 30 years. Glen Beck, conservative talk show host and someone who is very outspoken for the rights of people and not always in favor of the "darlings" of the republican party either, does a good timeline on what all happened but there are other places to get the info. How Chavez "envisioned" the country and the way the country spiraled downwards from the early 1990's to today... 30 years. How their inflation is so outlandish and their currency is totally worthless today.... what has happened to the health care and humanity in the country.... I think that an international paper called the International Tribune (?) did a timeline of the highlights of the downward spiral. There are papers that say it is not from socialism but from capitalism that has destroyed the country...
Starvation is rampant, it is not safe to walk streets in broad daylight... protests went from peaceful , to violent , to outright total destruction of parts of cities...
It is a blueprint , 30 yrs in the making, of what is happening here now. We need to learn before we descend to that level of our country being destroyed.

I agree with you. I have been thinking alot lately about how industry, education, health care, farming, basically everything that has to do with what it takes for a country to survive.

At the same time i think about how bad and how fast all thoes things i have mentioned are falling apart.

And the worst thing about all of it is with all of this stuff happening and it being as obvious as it is. Most people that are in their mid thirties and under. I don't think realize what is happening and how bad it's going to get before very many more years.

I am pretty sure I know why they can't see all this coming or unfolding right in front of them even now.

I am 60 years old. I can compare how things are now to as far back as to how things were when i was 10 years old fifty years ago. I can even remember how things were from about the time I was 6 years old. So i can compare the way things were 54 years ago. So i know how things were before we got to where we are now.

There's a big difference between now and the way things were then. In the worst of times back then was better than things are in today's time's.

You take people around 35 years old and younger. They were born at at time when everything started trending for the worst. So they just assume things have always been like it is now. They can't compare good to bad. They don't understand things are fixing to come to a head. They think the wheels on the bus is just going to continue go round and round.

That's a sad deal.

I have been saying for some time that the house of cards this country has been building for the last 40 years has to fall down one day. And when it does things will get ugly. Go to a grocery store in the city about 5:00 and watch people on their way home from work buying dinner for that night. And they do that night after night. Look at the delivery vehicles at take out places. When the house of cards collapses those people get hungry real quick. Really hungry people will do most anything to eat. Laws, personal property, and others rights mean nothing to them. Back in the 50's and 60's the government purchased commodities to support the market. They stored that stuff in warehouses. It could be given out to people to prevent a wide spread panic. They quit doing that.

I am very happy to live where I do. It is over 300 miles to the population center around Portland . By the time they drain the food from that area they will also be out of fuel. It is a long walk to get here. It is 100 miles to Boise. And there is a lot of food production in the Treasure Valley. They would definitely be out of fuel before they run out of food. This county has the resources to feed the population and we are geographically isolated enough to keep from getting a large influx of the deperate people from outside areas.

Politicians, and stupidity is the cause of most starvation and death.

The Good Lord said be fruitful and multiple, so I'm guessing he has a plan for 10, 20, 30 ect. billion people.

Of course it may involve a lot of fire.
