Hi everyone,
In late July i'm going to be driving from Louisiana to Montana and back. On the way up i'm going through Amarillo and Burlington, CO to see my uncle's ranch. On the way back, I'm going to go through South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore, and then i figure i'll drive through Nebraska and Kansas. What feedlots there would yall recommend that i go see? I've seen lots of cow/calf operations so i figured it would be helpful to see other segments of the cattle industry.
Thanks,
Lee

This is an interesting one.

Frankie's right. They are the best. Find "Dan" and tell him "Mike" from Alabama told you to stop by. Seriously.

You'll be glad you did.

Decatur is good ,also you may want to stop in at Heartland Cattle Company in McCook which is nearby. They specialize in heifer development. In fact if,you travel down Highway 83 (Where Decatur is located out of Oberlin you will see plenty of large feedlots along the way.
