if i was to feed grass seed or clover etc. would the cows put it out it for me ....then i could drag it to spread it out

works for birds and fish...ever build anew pond..fish didnt walk there ya know?

I've heard of people doing that with clover seed. I'm not sure about grass seed, without the hard covering like clover has I think it would break down in the cow.

i was thinkin of trying some clover...i feed pellets so i could just mix it in with it and see what happens

When we had our veggie stand, cows got lots of veggies on the verg of going bad. Tomato and Tomatilla plants grew everywhere. After my 2 went to slaughter, the pasture was full of veggies. Cucumbers, watermellon, zucchini, squash. I guess they were eating them as they were growing, but only ate the tomato when they got ripe, like just before I was going out to pick some! May have to do with the type of seed that makes it through?

Have done it for years, mixed with the minerals. You will the best response in areas with more foot traffic. Used to do some Mig on some land and it worked very well there.
