Looks pretty darn good to me. It took me years so don't get discouraged with the hillsides. Especially with a dry fall.

They can be for the right price. Every cow there is a stockyard cow.

I know several local ranchers who were hoping to leave the cows out until Christmas. Looks like they came close. Old man winter has arrived here and the Great White Cowboy has been at work up in the hills. The last two days the roads have been full of cows headed for the winter feed grounds. The cows tend to stay out as long as they can but there comes a time when enough is enough. One rancher told me that he will fly the hills next week looking for any hold outs. Don't need any Donner party groups trying to hold out for spring. The result is hay feeding is beginning to be the all morning daily chore.
