Howdy! I am new to this board. My husband's family is looking into starting a feeder calf business. Right now they have a "hobbie" heard of about 80 mommas on there 300 acres. Many people around here have been buying very young calves in the spring, feeding them out, and then selling them in the fall. Is this a good idea? Does anyone know of a good resource on starting a feeder calf business? Thanks!
