The word IF
If a hen and a half laid an egg and a half in a day and a half, how long would it take a rooster to sit on a door knob and hatch out a hardware store?

NO I don't know the answer either.

Not worth a tinker's dam. Merry

Not to be critical, but the actual term is "tinkers darn". A tinkers darn is the repair(darn) made to a pot by a tinker.
Well, You probably are right on that, but I've always heard dam(n) I suspect that sometimes people put their on "spin " on it, who knows???? Merry

It sounds stronger to say dam then the wimpy darn.
When I was a squirt I once said tinkers dam and my dad after wailing the snot out of me with a razor strap explained it to me.

I once got in trouble in school for saying"darn". Looked it up in the dictionary, and one of the definitions is "hell".

- I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotamy
- Cant find his rear with both hands tied behind his back
- When someone says "I'm working on it" I say "I'm glad you tell me when your working and when your not so I can learn to tell the difference"

- Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most.

So many more I wish I could remember.
