My Favorite Beef Jerky Recipe

Now that everyone is butchering their own cattle, the first thing I will have them do is give me my rump roasts. Do not grind these up into ground beef. You cannot find a good rump roast in the store to make beef jerky and it would be so expensive to do. But this is how I used to do it, and it is really not my recipe, but a bottled product that I cannot duplicate or even come close to.

I cut my strips of rump roast up and pour Allgero "Hot and Spicy" Marinade in a large bowl and mix it in really well, then put it in plastic bags and seal it up in the refrigerator from 12-24 hours, and put it in a dehydrator. And let it run till it dies.

I still, have never had a jerky that equaled this flavor. I did not add more salt or anything else. If you use a lot of meat, it may take more than one bottle. This is made in Paris Tennessee.
Make one recipe of it and see what you think. Rump roast meat is the best.
