Facebook?

Help Support CattleToday:

I have it. Don't use it much for personal use but I can see pics and see what's going on at home while I'm 1000 miles away at work. I do keep up a facebook page for my 4-H clubs and it helps communicate meetings and share pictures.

Facebook is exactly what you make of it. Its pretty much a reflection of your life. If you see a bunch of drama on your FB, the people you associate with are the problem, not the website.

My FB feed is cattle, guns, trucks, jokes and hot chicks... just like my life. :cowboy:

FB is the only social media I do. It has also been very helpful with the free advertisements for chickens and cows. I've also used the "for sale" pages to buy and sell stuff. There's really a lot more to it than drama and BS. You have tools there that makes the experience exactly what you want it to be. My wife was with some of you "Never do it" folks, but after a few lessons and adjustment to her account she enjoys it now.

You and I were the last two. I got on a little over a year ago.
Found a lot of good groups.
Thank goodness cause this place is about done for.
So yes, you're the only one.

Yet here you are
Yes, here I am occasionally, not like I use to be.
When I'm real busy I'll go days without coming on here.
Now is that ok with you or do I need to change up?

Just wanted to clear it through you.

I do. Have since 2007. Been wanting to delete it but I have shared so many photos and experiences over the last 10 years, I don't want to lose them. I also run our cattle page and need my account too since it is tied to the cattle one.

I had to remove a LOT of people or acquaintances from my page because of their views or behaviors on FB, made me seriously angry, sad, bitter, etc... I am also very opinionated but I bite my tongue. I am okay with having different points of views but some folks beat theirs to death and use FB as their soap box.

I quit FB about 7 years ago when some folks at work got fired because of it.
The pros: I caught up with some long lost military buddies, school chums and was able to keep family updated on the kids.
The cons: so much BS I wasn't interested in, the negativity, wasted time
