electric fence ?

Some of my electric fence is under water. Do I need to turn it off or does it not really matter? It's a solar powered charger.
 
It won;t be ver y effective in the parts that aren;t underwater and may draw down the battery a lot faster.
 
How long do you expect it to be under water? Couple hours I wouldn't do anthing about it. Several days. No need for it to work that hard for nothing since it is going straight to ground. I'd fix it so that I could drop out the under water sections.
 
Im not sure but i would undo it. Are your hiefiers going to be able to get to high ground they say the harpeth has a long way to rise and a lot more rain tommorrow. May need to think of moving them not sure how the land lays.

Yes, there is some good high ground for them to get to. Check your e-mail.
