Eastern Redcedar Control - Bow Saw vs. Chainsaw (Do I need a Chainsaw)

You saw them off, they come back with a vengeance.

If they are the Eastern Red Cedar like we have in Oklahoma an you cut them below the first branches they will not come back.

I agree with this. I have cut thousands and thousands of cedars with a treesaw on a skid loader. Never once treated a stump, and never had one come back.
Anyone who owns land needs a chainsaw.
