You don't leave them for the cow to eat?

I have had a couple cows eat their afterbirth. I now pick it up and get rid of it to keep it from attracting buzzards.

That's probably not a bad idea, but my cows usually have it eaten it before I get there.
Freak deal I'm sure but lost a holstein and a beef heifer here two years ago that choked and died on them. I get them away asap now.........

Nice calf. Have looked at the bull all year. He may be one we use on commercial heifer projects next year. Used GAR Prophet last 2 years.
