Where are you looking to get the bull from? Many trucks hauling west and almost all traveling back east empty. Might get a heck of a deal from one of them.

Murray Grey is the breed and the ranch is located in CA.
Like I said, I have been all over and I have seen some good bulls, just not what will work for me, or what I want.
There may be one out there between me and California and if anyone has some names, please let me know!

Is there a list of breeders with the MG breed society? When I was buying seedstock in Texas for my herd in NC, I located a haulier bringing finished cattle to SC for slaughter, I was able to have small loads added to incomplete loads at a reasonable cost, and all the advantages mentioned by previous posters.

Why not try to hook up with ok jennie or wisteria farms. How ever you spell it. Either one would have to be closer than Ca.
