I have an angus heifer that's over her due date.
How long past the due date before I need to be concerned?

How did you determine her due date?
What was her breeding date?
When was she preg checked?
What would you like to be concerned about?
7 days over you should be concerned she'll need assistance.
21 days over her due date... then you should be concerned about your record keeping.
42 days over her due date, that she isn't bred and either aborted or never was pg.

up to 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after are all considred normal

Rule of thumb is +/- 2 weeks as stated. And more often a bull if over due date in the dairy industry... seems the heifer calves often come a bit early or on time, but not always.

Also depends on the breed. Most beef breeds' due dates are based on 283 days, Simmental are 285 days normal.
Mine are 288 average, and have had 2 recorded at 302

Bull calf
Unassisted
Sire was Remedy
Probably weighed around 65 lbs
The heifer was sired by Hoover Dam
