My son installed Yahoo messenger and it has slowed the computer to a crawl at times. Especially if you have to start it. Once it gets going, it's all good. Anything is better than dial-up. I can actually look at video now!

Me too. Sometimes slower. 26.8 I think. We were connecting at 56kbps until last year. Woke up one day and it slowed down to this. Right after Bellsouth started calling us about their new high speed internet. Hmmmmm......
