Disc just "rolls" across pasture - surface to hard

How can i break through the surface? Add more weight? Change degree on the disks? Run over it with a spring tooth? Or wait until Spring!!!!

Mosture works the best. Increasing angle or plowing may be an option if you are close to the right conditions.

I broke a Krause disk this week - - did not wait for the mosture.

Timing/moisture is the key to breaking ground. We use a chisel but don't like to spend the extra money in overhead costs.
