A guy was on trial for murder and if convicted, would get the electric chair.
His brother found out that a redneck was on the jury and figured he would be the one to bribe.
He told the redneck that he would be paid $10,000 if he could convince the rest of the jury to reduce the charge to manslaughter.
The jury was out an entire week and returned with a verdict of manslaughter.
After the trial, the brother went to the redneck's home, told him what a great job he had done, and paid him the $10,000.
The redneck replied that it wasn't easy to convince the rest of the jury to change the charge to manslaughter. They all wanted to let him go.
His brother found out that a redneck was on the jury and figured he would be the one to bribe.

Dad was on a jury where there was a couple that wanted to let the guy go. He stabbed the sheriff so hard it bent the knife blade, and this guy told the jury he could kill anyone. If it had not been for the fact the sheriff was a big man he would have gotten killed. Dad finally convinced everyone to convict this guy, and at the sentencing the judge let him go. This was the second jury, the first was a hung jury.
Just a thought: Why do kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

A local Dr was reported to always catch large fish. One day while he was out fishing a patient called saying that she was having a baby at her home. The Dr rushed over to help and the baby was fine. But he had no way to weigh the baby so they used his fish scales. The baby weighed 22 pounds and 7 ounces.
