About a week ago I cut through a black locust (24-30" saw never pinched all the way through.
I knew which way it was going to fall and backed away. It was still standing the next morning and
went down sometime around 9 AM. Fell about 45 degrees from where I figured due to prevailing
wind. I still have not figured out why the saw never pinched. Tree was dead, no bark and solid as
a rock all the way up. It is cut and blocked for the stove . I will not do that again.

Think it was Mickey Mantle that said he would of taken better care of himself if he had known he was going to live that long . I give that a big amen !
