Can't tell much about the bull but those working pens sure do look like they have taken a beating. Kinda wonder if that might be why that bull is for sale.
Ha Ha. Yea I'd like to have seen that! He does look like he's got some "pace" to him and surely stout enough to leap tall buildings in a single bound!

Yikes....

That's not to far from me. The neighbors use to have some beefalo that were always out. I'll admit that they were kind of cool animals.

Dang what a sorry looking animal and I guess he has CE problems it says calves are to big for their cows.

This is not a sorry bull, only skinny.

Those are the cheapo horse panels that they sell at Lowes. Any calf can do that kind of damage to them. I have some and they got smashed from a couple of square bales of hay falling on them.

The bull doesn't look to bad. Pretty tight skinned for a Brangus. Also by what is can see of the ears, he looks more toward the Angus side.

Yep--you can tell by how high the bows are above the gates--or what used to be gates.

This one's not far behind him...

You can buy him for $10,000 too.

he's only 42" tall--a mini

Newbie question here. Do people deliberately let their bulls get that heavy, thinking it makes them look more, well, beefy? Or are some of them just more prone to it? A bull just on grass/hay would probably never look like that, right?
When I look at the AI catalogs, they never look that chunky. (Or, I'm sorry, "big boned."

Over fed and underworked--not in their "working clothes" so to speak. Some are young show animals, which is completely different from working bulls. Some of the pictures, the hair is intentionally fluffed up to make them look "fuller" than they otherwise might look. A couple of week following the girls around will slim them down considerably.

Thanks. It just seems like potential buyers could see their structure better without the padding. Maybe in some instances the fat covers up some less than ideal structure, or not?
