You know, I have an 8 ft John Deere disk almost that exact model (mine is in a little better shape). I pull it behind a 65HP Farmtrac 80. Loved it when that was the biggest tractor I had....

Disc are worn and bet the bearing are shot
The shaft and spools are cheap to replace if need be
If the price is right that could be fixed up and used

bearings good, a couple of welds and she'll be good to go. around here these small Hydraulic disk are like hens teeth because they have all been sold for scrap. I saw one in a lot worse shape sell a couple months ago for 1k. I gave 500 for it.

I have found a lot in the Midwest that are cheap compared to what they are around here a new 6' lift type will run you 2500+ for a well built one. and used ones are just as high.
