Pulled up today going to feed some hay and this old cow was laid out with a prolapse. I drove in a circle around her and didn't see a new calf anywhere or buzzards so I though well it must still be in her. Got her up and was putting it in and I never felt a calf. She never pushed while we had her up. I veteran farmer was with me and he bumped her and he said she didn't have big calf in her. Said he couldn't tell a small calf. I sewed her up. I guess its a possibility she left the calf but I wouldn't think she would go far with that hanging out. You reckon she had the calf or do I need to take the stitches out in case the calf is still in there?
