Grandpa Jones
Bill Monroe
Flatt and Scruggs

This is some of that back porch banjo plucking that I grew up on.

I like Bluegrass to, heck I live in the Birthplace of Bluegrass music. Ralph Stanley lives 1hr away frome me and is a friend of the family to some of the older relatives. The Carter Family is from Scott Coutny Va, which is less than 30 minutes away. Johnny Cash and wife June Carter Cash had a summer home between Gate City and Mendota which is around the same area.

Jimmy Rodgers (the singing/yodeling brakeman)
Hank Thompson
Elton Britt
Buck ryan and Smitty Irvin
Bill Monroe
Jerry Reed (Hubbard)
Jim Reeves

But {b]not[/b] whatever her name is twain, the dixie chicks, garth brooks or any of their wanabes
